SOME HAVE CALLED ME THE MICHAEL JORDAN OF GUITAR HERO...
JEFF MA, QUALITY ASSURANCE TESTER
By now, everyone knows about the Guitar Hero franchise, but if you still haven’t played Guitar Hero, here’s what you’re missing out on. With over 70 songs, over two-thirds of which are master recordings, Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock is the biggest and baddest rock experience ever. Nothing is more satisfying than rocking out while hitting those serious note streaks, slamming that wammy bar while I do a power slide, and playing solos with the guitar behind my head – and doing it all on my Mac. That’s right, the Guitar Hero experience is no longer exclusive to console owners: everyone has the right to ROCK.
Whether you’re still getting used to those first three buttons, or already shredding solos like a pro, GH3 will have you playing all day long. I like to hook up with a friend and add the bass into the mix, playing cooperatively. Challenge the leaderboards against other players in the world, fighting for those top spots with the best scores. Take a shot at ‘Dragonforce,’ and see if your fingers can keep up. Battle your friends with the Battle mode until both of your wrists fall off. GH3 is definitely one of those games that needs to be played, even if you’re not a gamer; so do yourself a favor and go check it out!
